Tasty Treats

I stole this off of my sister's blog from last Christmas, and it was SO GOOD I had to share. I bought Blake some yogurt covered pretzels the other day, and was thinking of buying more and remembered this recipe and thought I'd make some for him. And boy am I glad that I did! Although I ate like 20 of them so I guess I'm not that glad. Anyway, here's the recipe.

Holiday Chocolate Pretzels
1 bag of Hershey's Hugs
enough little pretzels for the hugs
enough Christmas m&ms for the tops
  1. Preheat oven to 200°. Place the Pretzels on a parchment lined baking sheet and place one hug in the center of each pretzel. Bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Pull them out of the oven and place 1 or 2 m&ms on top of the melted hugs. Place in the fridge to let them cool and enjoy!

I made these today with the cookies and creme kisses and they were SO GOOD! And I thought they looked good, too. Blake thinks they looks like ranch dressing. gross. But either way, they taste great!

Lillian,
I don't know if you check your past posts, but this recipe is similar to a "turtle" recipe my mom makes during the holidays. But warning, they are very poppable! You use pretzels and do the same procedure with Rolos, then top with pecans. Tastes just like a real turtle and is quick n easy. Great for parties.

I just checked with my mom to be sure...You only need to stick the pretzels with Rolos in the oven for 5 minutes. :)

Hmmmm, I made these with mint truffle kisses and they were divine! and of course, the hugs are tasty too. Thanks for the great idea!
